November 4: “Those Who Have Gone Before”, Rev. Amy Brooks

Remembering people who have died is an integral part of many religious traditions. These traditions are rich in ways to celebrate including food, visits to gravesites and a time for families to get together. Halloween owes some of its traditions to these religious celebrations. This year, we have our first annual service of remembrance for those who have died, particularly those we lost this past year. If you wish, bring a small memento of your loved one as we celebrate together those who have gone before.

Make sure you’ve turned your clock back on Sunday morning before you decide it’s time to leave the house!

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.
