October 14: “Ending Hunger – Just Two Feet Away!”, Rodger Clark

In advance of members of our congregation participating in the Charlotte CROP Walk this Sunday afternoon, Rodger Clark will look at how participation in community efforts such as CROP Walk can have a major impact on both local and world hunger concerns.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 9:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-1 and 2-5, leaving the service after story time.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m. Childcare provided. Continuing the series, “Spirit in Practice”. Spirit in Practice was created to help Unitarian Universalists develop regular disciplines, or practices, of the spirit—practices that help them connect with the sacred ground of their being, however they understand it.
