September 30: Multigenerational Service and Social Action Project

“Living Our Beliefs Through Works”

It is not so much what we believe but the change we seek in creating a more just and loving world.

Join us for a Multigenerational Service and Social Action Project: “Supporting our Troops and Social Action Fair”. Bake cookies for and write notes to our service men & women. Get to know what’s on tap for Social Action activities this year. We’ll have many stations of activities for everyone to participate.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 9:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-1 and 2-5, leaving the service after story time.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m.
How Did I Get Here? A Time Line of My Spiritual and Religious Self
To answer this complicated and highly individualized question, participants will be guided through the construction of a time line of significant life experiences impacting their current sense of who they are as spiritual and religious beings. A discussion wil follow. Please bring pencils and a sheet of copy paper.
