September 23: “Where the Wild Worlds Are”, Rodger Clark

J. Rodger Clark, a member of UUFLKN, will present us with a look at how we create our “worlds” and how they impact our lives. He currently serves as Director of Development for WDAV 89.9 Classical Public Radio, a service of Davidson College. With more than 20 years non-profit development experience, he has held similar positions with the Harrisburg (PA) Symphony Orchestra, Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia, PA, and Church World Service. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 9:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-2 and 3-5, leaving the service after story time. Parents, please plan to come to the parent orientation meeting at 9:45 a.m. to learn about this year’s R.E. offerings for grades K-5, including Our Whole Lives programming for first and second graders. Nursery and childcare will be provided.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m. Completing the series “What We Choose: Ethics for Unitarian Universalists”, our final topic will be “An Ethic of Risk”. Nursery & childcare will be provided.
