Despite the saying about sticks and stones, words can indeed do both great harm and great good, to ourselves and to others. John Morgan, a relatively new member of our congregation and a massage therapist and “spiritual seeker”, will help us think about how to best use our words.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 10:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-2 and 3-5, leaving the service after story time.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m. “What we choose: Ethics for Unitarian Universalists.”
  • All this month we will be collecting school supplies in preparation for our Fifth Sunday Service Project. See the Social Action page for details.
