No, it’s not a joke! Since we do not meet this year on Easter Sunday we will celebrate the season of spring and Easter a week early. Central to our celebration is our annual flower communion. Please remember to bring with you a flower to share in our beautiful ritual of renewal, new life and hope.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 10:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-2 and 3-5, leaving the service after story time.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m. Introducing the Rev. Dr. William F. Schulz’s theology, Unitarian Universalism in a New Key. Schulz, who was president of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations from 1985-1993 and executive director of Amnesty International USA from 1994-2006, created this theology to “sound Unitarian Universalism in a new and more melodic key.” To this end, Schulz emphasizes the experiential aspects of our Unitarian Universalism faith tradition: “While what we believe about religion is important, what we experience of the religious is even more so.”
