Birthdays, holidays, weddings, retirement, we generally enjoy giving people gifts.  The gift may be as simple as a card or as grand as a trip.  We give because it reminds other people that we appreciate, value, even love them.  And we give because it makes us feel good.  That’s right, giving benefits us!  As we begin the season of our stewardship campaign, let us look again at the power giving has to benefit our lives and make us feel sooo good.

Our service begins at 11 a.m. in the Lodge at Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Find us.

  • Nursery for ages 0-PreK starting at 10:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge.
  • Religious Exploration for children, grades K-2 and 3-5, leaving the service after story time.
  • Religious Exploration for adults, 9:45 a.m.; introducing James Luther Adams, who was one of the preeminent Christian social ethicists and theologians of the 20th century. In his work, he emphasized personal and institutional behavior as the locus of meaning in religious belief.
  • Newcomers’ Welcome Class, 9:45 a.m. in the 2nd classroom. If you are new to Unitarian Universalism or just new to this congregation, this is the place to be to learn about us and ask your questions. Child care will be provided for younger children in the nursery.
