May 1: Rev. Brooks – Many Mothers, Many Lives, Many Gifts

Mothers and mothering come in many different forms and styles, as varied as the lives women lead. We recognize the challenges and the gifts as we remember our mothers and the people who have mothered us during the course of our lives.

Join us for the first service at our new location, the Woodlawn School, just north of Davidson. Our service begins at 11 a.m.

We will also be celebrating our admission to the Unitarian Universalist Association as one of their newest congregations!

  • Nursery for ages 0-4 starting at 10:45 a.m.
  • Faith Development for children.  Ages 8-12 starting at 9:45 a.m, in the classroom adjacent to the Lodge. Class for ages 5-7 starts after story time during the service.
  • No Faith Development for adults this week.
  • Please bring a donation for Loaves & Fishes if you are able. At this time, they particularly need peanut butter, canned beans (all kinds), cereal, pasta sauce, spaghetti, and canned fruit.
