UU Fellowship of Lake Norman

Come and join us for spiritual nurturing, music, talk and conversation this Sunday March 7th at the Ada Jenkins Center, 212 Gamble St, Davidson, NC. Doors will open at 10:30 am with the service starting at 11:00 followed by refreshments and conversation. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Dick Weston Jones, an ordained UU minister and minister emeritus of the Ventura, Ca UU Church. His talk is titled:

“How to know your beliefs are right—and others are wrong.”

by Rev. Dick Weston-Jones

This doesn’t sound like a standard UU sermon, but it really does have a sensible answer that honors all beliefs.  Rev. Dick Weston-Jones has served in UU ministry for 46 years, following his father, Rev. Robert T. Weston, who was a UU minister for 48 years.  Dick says he plans to make it to the century mark for the two of them.  He is minister emeritus of the Ventura, CA UU Church, and has served UU churches in Auckland, New Zealand, Lynchburg, VA and Hillsborough, NC since retiring in 2000.

All are welcome regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability or economic status

We are a liberal faith community.

Note: CHILDREN ARE WELCOME IN OUR SERVICES

Peace!
