Our past meeting on Monday July 13th, focused on the group vision of UUFLKN moving forward. There was some wonderful feedback from those atending. Specifically, there was a general consenous that more needed to be done with our volunteer efforts within the committee. This will be an excellent way to shape our identity and show the action oriented efforts of UU as a whole. In addition we believe that a marked increase in our efforts to be community oriented will help our fellowship to grow as we move forward.
Also, there was considerable talk on how to to grow in numbers and one way was to get our children involved in our fellowship. Over the next few weeks we will seek ways to accomplish this objective.
I look forward to what the future holds for UUFLKN. Come join us and be apart of this growing liberal faith fellowship.
